2 New Judogi Brands

10-time World Champion and double Olympic Gold Medalist Teddy Riner has his own judogi brand called Fightart. The IJF-approved models are priced at 155 Euros and 165 Euros for white and blue, respectively for a size 170.

Meanwhile, 2010 World Champion Hiroyuki Akimoto has also launched his own brand of judogi. The brand seems to be called simply as “kimono”, although the website’s address has the name kimonofighter in it.

His judogi seems to be available only in white and has a radical, almost feminine, design featuring some flourishes usually seen on BJJ gis. These gis are not IJF approved and are premium-priced at US$450 each.
